HOW IT'S MADE

Our various S.A.E. Felts are manufactured to the required engineering specification. Wool or a blend of wool and synthetic fibers are mixed, carded and then steamed and felted. Additional pressure in the fulling process allows us to achieve higher densities for the SAE felts.
